Traffolyte Labels
Traffoyte ( 2 or 3 ply engraving laminate) continues to be the first choice material for electrical labels, mostly due to durability and insulation properties. Traffolyte is a generic term to describe the type of label, however there are literally 100's of engraving laminates these days to suit all environments and site demands.
Traffolyte labels are made in bespoke sizes, colours and specifications with unique text, barcodes QR or codes if required.
They are normally fixed using cable ties, screws or supplied with a hi-bond adhesive backing tape.
How it works
Most engraving laminates consist of a 'cap' which is the top layer, the background colour and a 'core' the, lettering colour.
The cap is removed using laser or rotary engraver to expose the core below resulting in a durable label were the text and/or graphic have depth.
